Agron Dragaj Photography

About

Agron Dragaj is a Kosova born photographer currently based in Bangkok, Thailand. He graduated from Prishtina University in 1992 and New York Institute of Photography (NYIP), passion for photography led him to become a versatile, extrovert and independent photographer specialising in travel photography, portraits, documentary and photojournalism.

Five years of work in Sri Lanka went into the documentary "Portraits of Displacement", which portrays the displacement and humanitarian relief efforts of UN agencies and I/NGOs - due not only to two decades of civil war but also the displacement of people after the Tsunami which hit the Sri Lankan coast on 26 December 2004.

Recently he was commissioned by the CNN Traveller Magazine

Some of his work appeared in:

Geo, Times, Guardian, CNN Traveller ,Daily news, Silver Kris, Etihad inflight magazine, Amana magazine, JPG magazine, Wall Street Journal, Sky magazine, the UNHCR web publications and news, while many NGO's have published and used his work for fund raising and awareness raising purposes.

His work of the Asian Tsunami aftermath was projected on the Angkor International Photography Festival in Siam Reap in Cambodia.
